Rite Foods Limited has rewarded 652 retailers with cash prizes and household appliances following the completion of its Awoof Retail Flap Promo held between March and June 2026.
The promotion turned the flaps collected from eligible mega cartons of participating products, including Rite Spicy Beef Sausage, into rewards for retailers across Port Harcourt, Benin, Lagos and the South-West.

According to the company, a total of 259,306 flaps were redeemed during the promotion, resulting in 652 prizes being presented to participating retailers.
The rewards ranged from everyday household appliances such as electric kettles, blenders, microwaves and rechargeable fans to bigger items including gas cookers, freezers, washing machines and 1.5HP inverter air conditioners.

Six retailers also received cash prizes of ₦1 million each, bringing the total cash reward to ₦6 million, while the remaining 646 winners received household appliances.
The promo was built around a simple system. Retailers who sold eligible Rite Foods products from participating mega cartons collected the flaps attached to the cartons and redeemed them for rewards.
Speaking on the initiative, National Sales Manager, Bakery & Modern Trade, Rite Foods Limited, Rotimi Okunola, said the company introduced the promotion as a way of recognising the retailers who play an important role in getting its products to consumers.
“Our retailers are an important part of our journey to consumers. Every day, they put in the work to make our products available where people shop and buy. The Awoof Promo was our way of recognising that effort and giving something back to the people who help keep our brands within reach,” Okunola said.

Benin recorded the highest number of prizes with 251 winners, followed by Port Harcourt with 245. The South-West had 84 winners, while 72 prizes were presented in Lagos.
Rite Foods said all 652 prizes had been presented to the winners across the four regions.
For the company, the promotion was not only about giving out prizes but also about recognising the retailers whose everyday work helps move its products from cartons to shops and ultimately into the hands of consumers.
