Park managers across the five local government areas in Ogbomoso Land, Oyo State, have declared their support for former House of Representatives member Shina Peller and other candidates of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was announced during Peller’s visit to Orire Local Government Area on Saturday, where transport leaders pledged to mobilise their members to support the party’s candidates.

Speaking on behalf of the park managers, their overall chairman, Comrade Jimoh Aderemi, expressed confidence in the APM’s prospects in the region and promised that its candidates would receive strong electoral backing.
Aderemi claimed that the party would secure three times the votes previously recorded for Governor Seyi Makinde and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the area during the last election.
Representatives of park managers from the five local government areas also took turns to express their support for Peller and other APM candidates, pledging to mobilise their members ahead of the polls.
Peller is seeking election to represent Oyo North Senatorial District in 2027.

He was accompanied on the visit by members of his campaign team and other party leaders, including his Campaign Director-General and Ogbomoso North Local Government Chairman, George Gbadegesin Ogunlade.
Also present was John Adisa Oke, the APM candidate for the Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Orire Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
The delegation included Oyo State House of Assembly Majority Leader Sanjo Adedoyin, who is also the APM candidate for Ogbomoso South, as well as party chairmen, women and youth leaders, and other executives from across Ogbomoso Land.
Reacting to the endorsement, Peller thanked the transport leaders for their support and confidence in his candidacy.
He promised to provide effective representation and pursue initiatives that would serve the interests of Oyo North residents if elected to the Senate in 2027.
The endorsement adds to the political activities gathering momentum ahead of the next general elections. However, the park managers’ promises of electoral support and projected vote figures remain political declarations ahead of the polls.
