Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, has congratulated a chieftain of the party, Prince Niran Adeyoju, popularly known as SDM, on his 65th birthday. Alli, in a statement issued on Monday, described Adeyoju as a committed member of the APC whose contributions have extended beyond party politics to community development and the welfare of the people.
He praised the celebrant for his generosity, humility and willingness to support both the party and members of the wider society, describing these qualities as part of what had made him a dependable stakeholder.
According to Alli, Adeyoju has remained committed to promoting unity within the APC, particularly through his role as co-convener of the Oyo APC Peace Advocates.
He noted that the group’s efforts to encourage peaceful coexistence, dialogue and understanding among party members had contributed to fostering a more united political environment.
The APC governorship candidate also commended Adeyoju’s leadership as President of the Providence Coalition, saying his work through the organisation had focused on issues including good governance, community development and improving the welfare of the people.
Alli said Adeyoju’s involvement in such initiatives demonstrated that political participation should go beyond seeking positions to include making meaningful contributions to society.
“Prince Niran Adeyoju is a dependable stakeholder and leader whose contributions to our party and the welfare of our people are commendable.
“On behalf of myself, my family and the BSA Campaign Organisation, I celebrate him and wish him many more years in good health and prosperity,” Alli said.
The senator also prayed for Adeyoju to enjoy long life, wisdom and renewed strength to continue with his humanitarian activities and service to the people.
As the celebrant marks his 65th birthday, Alli urged members of the APC to draw inspiration from his commitment to service, generosity and efforts toward maintaining peace within the party.
He said such values would remain important as the APC prepares for the 2027 elections and seeks to strengthen unity among its members across Oyo State.
