Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month pregnant partner of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has escaped injury following a three-vehicle accident in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The crash reportedly occurred at about 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district, according to Turkish media outlets Türkiye Today and Demirören News Agency.
Ladewig, a model, was reportedly driving an SUV when she approached a bend and collided with a light commercial vehicle driven by a person identified as Paris T. The impact sent her vehicle into another SUV travelling in the opposite direction, resulting in a three-vehicle collision.
Although the vehicles were damaged, no injuries were reported at the scene.
Because Ladewig is in the later stages of her pregnancy, she was taken to a private hospital in Istanbul’s Maslak area for precautionary medical examinations. She was later discharged after the checks, with reports indicating that she was in good condition.
Ladewig, who was born in Berlin, Germany, is known for her modelling work and social media presence. She is in a relationship with Osimhen, 27, who plays for Turkish club Galatasaray and represents Nigeria at international level.
The reports did not indicate that Osimhen was in the vehicle or involved in the accident.
Further details about the circumstances of the crash, including whether an investigation had been opened, were not immediately available.
